The CMRS participates in a variety of activities such as parades, displays for school children, events honouring veterans.

bulletAt the end of WWII, Canada's army, navy and air force were among the half-dozen largest in the world!  
bulletIf the Germans had invaded England in 1940 as planned in Operation Sea Lion (Battle of Britain) the ONLY properly equipped formation available to resist them was the 1st Canadian Division as the British had lost so much (about 90%) of their equipment, vehicles and weapons in their withdrawal from France.
bulletBy the end of WWII, Canada had produced over 900,000 military vehicles including tanks. The Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) trucks became the most standard trucks of the entire British Commonwealth. It is estimated that 90% of the soft-skin Allied vehicles used in North Africa were Canadian made, and supplied to the British. 
bulletCanada supplied military aid in the form of tanks, trucks and radios to the Soviet Union - after the USSR had changed sides in June 1941. 
bulletA Canadian invented the G-Suit which is now standard for jet pilots.
