Canada sent naval ships which operated a blockade.
Canada also sent a combined fighter squadron of CF-18 jet fighters and Boeing 707
refueling aircraft.
There was a small army security force as well.
Some Canadians served actively with US and British forces as they were on normal
exchange duty. Thus one Canadian officer for example commanded a British tank in
battle.
