Can a company place a negative entry against my credit report without my social security number or birth date?
I sign a contract with a company, but never took my social security number or birth date? Indeed, it can make a claim w / o this information, but can occur on my credit report as usual, they need name, date of birth, address and telephone.
All you need is your name and information sufficient to distinguish the file of people with similar names, such as an address or phone number or a Credit Card that provides a reference to sign the contract. Obviously, a social security number is unique and is the best direction, but not alone by any means.
